These are some cool sites that deal with old and classic cars, and the marques I love.
Classic Throttle Shop
An amazing classic car salesroom in Sydney, Australia - they have the most extraordinary range of thoroughbred and classic cars on offer. The stuff dreams are made of... For those of you in Sydney, a full range of my prints are available for purchase in their showroom.
Motor Book World
In Canterbury, in Mebourne's eastern suburbs. A wealth of hard-to-find books on cars, motor racing, motorbikes, manuals - if it's printed and it's about cars, they have it. They also have samples of my prints on display if you want to see them in person.
Pickard's of Melbourne
Specialize in parts for British cars, with a great workshop always full of interesting cars up on hoists. They also have several of my prints on display if you want to see them in person. Located in Victoria Street, Richmond.
Dame Zara Moneypitt's blog
The thrilling adventures of my good friend Tim and his 1969 Daimler V8-250.
Practical Classics magazine
Useful advice and interesting forums - my Jag featured in the March 2009 issue in the Reader's Cars section.
Caulfield Jag Service
Grahame and the lads here in Melbourne look after my '68 Jag - highly recommended!
Classic Car Gurus
Handy resource for a massive range of classics, and the most comprehensive list of Australian car clubs I've ever encountered.
Jalopnik
A must-see daily read for car-obsessives. Very US-centric, but still full of fascinating nuggets of car goodness. Plus, they seem to strangely love Australian cars, which is rather nice of them...
Bring A Trailer
Oh, so sad that this only covers the USA. There are some astounding classics regularly up for sale there, and this site highlights the absolute best of them. It's probably a good thing for my bank account that I'm about 8,000 miles away from these gems.
Cheers,
